Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the boneless, skinless chicken breasts into uniform bite-sized pieces (about 1-inch cubes).
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using) until well blended.
  4. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well coated. Cover with plastic wrap and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or longer for enhanced flavor).
